We had a lovely breakfast on the front porch and then raced off to the Freeport Raceway Mall to find the Lens Crafters store. Freeport is the town Bruce Springsteen grew up in. I'm sure we walked in his footsteps around the mall. We found a suitable frame very quickly and then ordered new glasses. We had to wait about an hour and a half, so we shopped a bit. I'm not sure if my wearing sunglasses while shopping influenced any of my purchases, but now everything seems very bright.

After shopping, we drove toward New Haven, CT. We discovered the PEZ visitors center in Orange, CT about 10 miles south of New Haven. A very cool collection of PEZ history and some fun things to buy as well. In East Haven we found a laundromat and ended our day with some fresh, clean clothes.
